Prudent Advisory Services (FSB no. 4292) is a Financial Services Provider company that is independently operated and owned by Mr. Larry Brookstone. This company is closely associated in its business dealings to the Discovery Group, The Momentum Group, Sanlam, Altrisk and several Offshore Investment Companies. Having being born out of Discovery Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd. during 2002, Prudent Advisory Services places a strong emphasis on the service it provides to its clients and innovative ideas around financial planning. The management of the branches within the company is delegated to Sales Managers each bringing several years of individual experience and service competency. The aim of the company is to become the largest independently operated brokerage in South Africa, complimented by accredited financial planners and an array of available and professional support staff. At present there are two branches in Johannesburg and one each in Durban, East London, Klerksdorp, Rustenburg, Pretoria, Pieter Maritzburg, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. The company at present, boasts a staff compliment of close to 80 skilled professionals. The services that we offer mainly encompass Financial Planning, Short-Term and Medical Aids. We provide access to life assurance and portfolio consolidation advice through Discovery Life, health care solutions through Discovery Health, medical benefit enhancements through a life assurance plan through the Discovery Health Plan Protector and of course, the most innovative well-being program through Discovery Vitality. Furthermore the Discovery Life product is utilized widely in estate planning and business assurance. Through the Momentum Group, Sanlam, Altrisk and several Offshore Investment companies, we provide clients access to retirement planning vehicles and long-term investment solutions. These include their unique and innovative range of retirement annuities, endowment plans, single-premium investments, unit trust-linked investments, wills and trust services and employee benefits rage of products.
